I am a half time GP with wide experience of all aspects of a busy practice. In the last few years I have undertaken a lot of teaching and lecturing including setting up a new course for community matrons. To support this I recently completed a diploma in education.

My children are 14 and 16 and (mostly) a pleasure to be with. I love the river and plan to do the Devizes to Westminster canoe race next year. As the founder member of a book club I read reasonably widely.

In the holidays I enjoy travelling. I have back-packed around India and learnt to dive last Christmas.

Cochrane systematic review of postnatal depression

Book chapter on non-medical prescribing

Hundreds of pieces for lay and professional press (Our Baby, Mother and Baby, Health Which, Real People ask the doc since its inception, Pulse, GP, Medeconomics, BMJ careers etc). Variety of clinical topics and practice management pieces especially looking at part-time practice.
